Small fine menu and the food is very, very tasty. The service is great and takes care of all guests.

Great little restaurant with attentive service. Small, hearty menu with regional dishes. Delicious. Wonderful tea and coffee or even decent beer.

Finally open and completely renewed. After the change of operator you can go back here and eat well (small menu but sometimes daily specials like a wonderful turbot with porcini mushroom risotto ...) and drink (one of the best wines on the island). The ambience is pleasantly simple and straightforward and successfully reminds of the time when Hiddensee was called the artist colony. Here you will only be disappointed if you like it loud and cheap, because you won't find that here.

Limited menu, no cappuccino or wheat beer. At the price! Service friendly and looks nice. The cheesecake was warm and different from what we thought but tasted good.

Thank you for your hospitality and the delicious food on our last holiday evening. We were happy to spontaneously get a place. Staff was super friendly. We liked the concept of the location. Had barley and spinach risotto and Öhe braised sausage with mashed potatoes. Both were delicious. The seats inside and outside are nice.

The restaurant is very nicely and comfortably furnished, a mixture of modern minimalism and wooden walls and floors in their original condition. The food and wine were delicious. A vegetarian dish was even cooked vegan especially for me and tasted very good, thank you very much! We also ordered plaice and quark rings, which, according to my company, were also very good. We left the Red House full and satisfied.

Simply great restaurant, very good regional cuisine. I think the prices are a bit high - for a purely tourist island and for this kitchen I found that absolutely fine. Gladly again!

Really good (not very cheap) cuisine and very nice service! We ate very well here - starter, main course and dessert. Everything was very fresh and tasty. The menu is down to earth and small. The good quality is surprising, this is not a tourist trap. The young waiter was very warm and quick. We will definitely be back.

Not cozy inside and nothing left of the esprit of the name. Very small portions (2 lukewarm teaspoons hidden under the salmon). Hardly seasoned, except the herb curd, which was delicious. Pity!

A very nice place in Vitte. Real soul food. Usually mashed potatoes are very poor in restaurants. It is excellent here. It has its (justified) price. Better to spend a little more here than to eat mediocre. Many restaurants on Hiddensee have Schnitzel + fish, expensive, unimaginative. It tastes good here. Keep it up!

The restaurant is modern, simple and very comfortably furnished. Everything was very tasteful. Unusual dishes can be found on the menu. The humus was a dream! We will be back.
